Housing Consultative Committee

The Housing Consultative Committee (HCC) is a formal committee comprising representatives from each of the borough’s resident associations, the Kingston Residents’ Federation, elected members and council officers. HCC meets every three months to discuss housing matters and to make policy recommendations about council housing policy. Any resident in the borough can attend meetings of HCC.

The role of the HCC is to consider and approve policies in relation to strategic housing management, referring matters on to the relevant council committee, where their formal approval is required.

HCC is a vital link between residents and the Council, providing a platform for views of tenants and leaseholders to be considered.

The Terms of Reference of HCC can be downloaded from this page. Future meeting dates and the agendas and minutes of previous meetings can be downloaded from RBK’s website.
